Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
The Toyota Sequoia is available in three trim levels, the standard, Limited and Platinum models. Some of the features that the base model comes standard with are a sunroof, 3 zone climate controls, heated mirrors, a tilt steering wheel with audio controls, a power driver seat, Bluetooth and an 8 speaker CD stereo.
Some features the Limited trim package adds are 20 inch wheels, leather seats, styled gauges, a backup camera, and a 14 speaker JBL sound system.
The Platinum level adds some features such as adaptive shock absorbers, a power lift gate, heated and cooled front seats, power folding and rear seats, a navigation system, and a backup camera.
Powertrains and Performance
The Base model Toyota Sequoia comes standard with a 4.6 liter V8 engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 327 lb ft. of torque. While the optional 5.7 liter V8 produces 381 horsepower and 401 lb ft. of torque.
Fuel economy for both engines is almost identical at 14 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway.
Speed tests showed the Sequoia (with the 5.7 liter V8) went from 0 to 60 mph in a remarkable 6.7 seconds.
